Grades 4, 5, 6 and 7 ASB First Kicks Players
If this is your first time joining Blue Rovers Football Club then a big welcome to you or if you have joined us again it’s great to have you back. We hope to provide an interesting and enjoyable season. Mini Football, now called ASB First Kicks (for those turning 4, 5 or 6 this year) and Fun Football (for those turning 7 this year) has been developed by NZ Football and it is totally participative.
Each week the sessions are all well researched & documented. It is a combination of fun skills-based activities followed by small-sided games. Every player is involved for every minute of the session! The emphasis is on more opportunities, more touches of the ball & more fun!
NOTE: Registrations for First-Kicks(grades 4 to 7) close at 5:00 pm on Thursday 27th April 2017. There are no trials for these grades.
We aim for players to achieve:
Fun and enjoyment
The development of sportsmanship and cooperation through participation.
Basic football skills and coordination.
Remember ASB First Kicks is about giving it a go and having fun!!
Parents’ participation is both important and encouraged, but must be positive at all times. This is your Club and will only succeed with your input. The committee are volunteers most of whom started out with their children at mini soccer. Enjoy the season with your children, contribute to their enjoyment and share in Blue Rovers Football Club.

Day, Place & Time
Starts: Saturday 6th May
Saturday 8.30 am to 9.20 am
All games are played at Pemberton Park, Greerton.
The coordinator has placed players into teams and sourced a coach / manager for each team. The coach / manager will contact all team players before the season kicks off.
Cancellations: We play in the rain but the decision to cancel will be based on how bad or how cold the weather is on the morning. If it is cancelled it will be advertised on More FM (93.4FM) and Classic Hits (95.0FM) between 7am and 8am plus the Blue Rovers website.
Barbeque Team Roster: All teams are rostered to man the barbeque from 8am - 9:15am on a Saturday morning. The roster & instructions are emailed to teams so please ensure your team parents are organised and ready for this duty, it is an important club fundraiser enjoyed by players at the end of their game.
