Milo Fantails is a girl-specific programme designed to help introduce girls to football and to provide an opportunity for girls aged 5-12 to improve their skills, have fun and make friends. The principles of Fantails are:
- Boosting confidence
- Providing opportunities to develop life skills such as respecting others, speaking, listening, working well individually and within a team, having a positive attitudie and overcoming challenges
- Creating opportunities for friendships
- Fun and enjoyment
- Female role models
- Increasing skill and movement competency
Fantails runs every term throughout the year.

Term 3 Girls-only Little Rovers Development Squad
New Zealand Football has introduced new playing formats for 8th and 9th grade this year: 5-a-side with goalkeepers on larger fields (similar in size to Summer Football) and goals to those of previous years. This will allow for more touches and time on the ball, enabling players to apply their learnings in better playing environments.
Little Rovers is our new programme for 8th and 9th grade (8th grade is girls born in 2018; 9th grade is girls born in 2017), a precursor to our Development teams, which begin in 10th Grade.
What: 8-week periodised programme for girls-only on Fridays.
Dates: Friday 24th July to Friday 11th September.
Times: 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
Where: Pemberton Park.
Age: Girls born in 2017-2018
Cost: $160 for 16 sessions ($10 per session).

Term 4 Girls-only Friday Junior Fantails
New Zealand Football created Fantails to provide more opportunities for girls to play football. Our Junior Fantails programme provides a girls-only environment for our youngest members (aged 5 to 7) to discover football in a fun, safe environment.
What: 8-week periodised programme for girls-only on Fridays.
Dates: Friday 23rd October to Friday 11th December (8 weeks).
Times: 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
Where: Pemberton Park.
Age: 5 to 7-year-olds
Cost: $40.00 ($5 per session). Fantails is subsidised by NZ Football.
