Update from the Blue Rovers President

With the successful fast football still going, the Blue Rovers committee are finalising the preparations of the 2021 season. Our 50th anniversary, so it will be a busy one.

The club is keen to continue with Ben, as the Director of Football. Feedback from coaches learned that having him on the pitch is seen as very beneficial. For course it will depend on funding, but It fits in with the club’s efforts improving coaches’ support.
The committee also approved the first ever Blue Rovers ‘playing philosophy’. Together with the Ricki Herbert Football academy tailor-made grade specific coaches packages, we are ready to take our coaches and players support to the next level.

Lastly, the club has decided to continue the fast football programme, run in term 4, into the New Year too. This means that the RHFA pre-season will be replaced by a Blue Rovers skills centre.
