Wanted! Registrations Officer
The Tauranga Blue Rovers are looking for an experienced administrator with customer service experience.
What you'll be doing
- Working with our Committee, Director of Football and Treasurer to manage the administration and communication relating to registering with the Tauranga Blue Rovers.
- Setting up forms, groups, programmes, reports using Friendly Manager (https://www.friendlymanager.com/)
- Responding to registration queries.
- Supporting our Director of Football and Grade Coordinators with team formation.
- Reporting to our Committee.
What we're looking for
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with parents and adult players.
- Someone who can balance providing help with helping our members to help themselves.
- A good understanding of volunteer sports clubs (desirable).
- A good understanding of the New Zealand Football Whole of Football Plan (desirable).
- Experience with Friendly Manager (desirable).
- Experience with Xero (desirable).
- The legal right to work in New Zealand.
- Someone who currently resides in New Zealand.
Contract, hours of work and place of work
We are looking for a permanent part-time contractor.
Hours are approximately 20 hours per week over our busy registration period (March, April, May) reducing to 10 hours a week outside of this time. No work over the Christmas and New Year period.
Hours are flexible but queries should be responded to within 24 hours.
This is a work from home role with occasional meetings in person at our Pemberton Park clubrooms.
About us
The Tauranga Blue Rovers Football Club was formed in 1971 and now has around 700 players in winter football with the club and 1800 players involved in our football programmes throughout the year. We train and play at Pemberton Park on Fraser Street, Morland Fox Park on Devon Street and Te Wati Park in Maungatapu. The majority of our players are from our local area: Greerton, Oropi, Pyes Pa, The Lakes, Tauriko and Central Tauranga.
